Excavation & Trenching Part 1 of 2

Description
This e-learning course is designed to be self-paced and can be taken at any time and from any location with an internet connection. This makes it convenient for workers to complete the training at their own pace and schedule. The course aims to educate workers about the hazards associated with excavations and trenches, such as cave-ins, falls, and hazardous atmospheres, and how to recognize and avoid them.

The course may also include information on the proper use of protective systems such as trench boxes, shoring and shielding systems, and sloping and benching systems. It also covers the soil classification, testing and identification, and the emergency response procedures. Upon completion of the e-learning course, workers will have a better understanding of OSHA excavation and trenching regulations and will be better equipped to work safely in and around excavations and trenches.
